Kinsmen

South Texas Rock band Kinsmen (Roman Suarez, Garrett Inkster, Conner Church and Rey Ybarra) continues to fan the flame of inspiration with their upcoming EP titled Currents. Combining multiple musical genre’s, the group explored their roots as jazz musicians and allowed themselves to explore new territories with Currents, while maintaining their vision as a rock band.

In the spirit of exploration, Kinsmen chose to record the EP in their studio The Parish, but this time, hiring Mason Shirley of Sound Machine Studio to mix, and Dave McNair to master the project. Tracked over months instead of days, the band was able to explore sonic textures and part writing more than ever before. This is especially evident in their single “The Weight of God.” released in early July.

Looking forward to broadening their fan base, Kinsmen is now accepting bookings for fall of 2021.
